Day 2

Day 2 started off just like any other day. I woke up, did the usual things you do when you wake up. Then up the stairs to where the kitchen is do eat some breakfast. At the top of the stairs sitting at the table working on homework was no other than dave. I yell up the stairs, "lets open a bottle of wine!" and thats what we do. We start off with a blue bottle, which took us about 20 minutes to polish off. Then Chris makes her famous Tang concoction, a mixture of Tang, lemonade, and alcohol. We then drink a pitcher of that. Pat then makes us a pitcher of long island ice tea, which we finish off. Then just for the hell of it we open another bottle of wine to drink. This one takes us a little longer to finish but we end up getting that one down as well. Mind you we have had nothing more than bacon to eat for breakfast. (In case you were wondering the timing of all of this, we started at 9:30 am and we finish the 2nd bottle at about 12:30 pm)

After our alcohol induced morning Dave and I decide it would be a good idea to lay down for a bit. I start to pass out on the couch and Dave goes down to his room to sleep. About 10 mins later someone wakes me up and tells me to go sleep next to Dave. I walk down there, all on my own, and I lay down next to Dave. And the last thing I remember before falling asleep is Dave putting his arm around me. (I come to find out later that there is a picture of this on facebook)

We wake up from our nap and Dave and I decide it would be a good idea to just chill at the house for the day.

Later that evening we all decide to play Apples to Apples and have one hell of a good time with that until around 11 pm where every, who has been at the beach all day, decides to go to bed. I lay down to go to sleep and have the hardest time falling asleep. I decide since it is 12:30 1 o'clock in the morning I am going to sneak out to the beach for a walk. It takes quite a bit of cunning on my part to get out without waking anyone up, but I make it out there and start walking along the beach. I can see the waves rolling and crashing next to me and smell the salty night air. I decide to sit and enjoy the warm breeze coming off the Atlantic Ocean. The night is a moonless clear night without any street lights and without any one around. I look up at the vast darkness and see the most amazing sight I have ever seen... Every star is twinkeling and you can see every single star. I lay there starring at the stars for the longest time and see several shooting stars. As I am laying there contemplating life and how small we truely are, a small crab comes up and tries to get into my pocket scaring the living crap out of me. I then decide it would be a good idea to head back.

This is where I bid the day adue and fall asleep.

Until next time....

Joey
